Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This page explains what information Go Beyond the Beach collects when you visit the site or request the free Coastal Culture Checklist, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: I only collect what I need to send you what you asked for, I do not sell your information, and you can leave the email list at any time.

What I collect

I do not ask for your address, payment details, or any sensitive information on this site.

How I use it

Who I share it with

Only the service providers that make the site work, and only so they can do their job: the website host (Netlify), the automation service that passes checklist sign-ups to the email list (Zapier), and the email service that stores the list and sends the emails. I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information may be disclosed if required by law.

Cookies

This site does not run analytics, advertising, or remarketing trackers of its own. The website host may set a small number of essential cookies needed to serve pages securely. Fonts and other resources may be loaded from third-party servers, which receive your IP address when they deliver them. Third parties, including Amazon, may place and read cookies in your browser when you follow a link to their sites, and may collect information directly from you there. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If analytics or advertising trackers are added, this policy will be updated first and consent requested where the law requires it.

Amazon Associates

Go Beyond the Beach is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you follow a link to Amazon from this site, Amazon may set its own cookies to record that the visit came from here. Buying through these links costs you nothing extra. Amazon's handling of that data is covered by Amazon's privacy notice.

Your choices and rights

How long I keep it

Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Technical server logs are kept only briefly by the host for security and troubleshooting.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
